Lenox Park Neighbors,
This is our first email update of the new year, so we’ll start by saying, “Happy New Year!” As we kick off a new year in Lenox Park, there are a few important announcements that you can access via Drue’s 2 Minute Video Update at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dl0htFcB8qg&feature=youtu.be or by reading the text below. Feel free to email any questions, suggestions, or ideas to Drue at email@example.com or 404-906-9117. For questions about your HOA account, dues, ARC requests, or property, you can email AnnMarie (PMI) at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The purpose of this eNews is to keep our community informed as to important happenings and guidelines, and to keep an open line of communication with residents. Your questions, suggestions, and ideas are important!
The first installment of our 2021 HOA Dues was due on January 1st. The amount currently due is $246.00. The 2nd installment will be due on July 1st. For questions and/or more information about your account, send an email to AnnMarie at PMI at email@example.com.
PMI will resume monthly drive through inspections this month (most likely today or early next week), so be sure to take down holiday decorations (should be removed by Jan. 15) and make sure all other areas are in compliance. It’s best to look at your HOA Covenants to make sure you know the rules and regulations. As a help, we’ve included a brief summary of the most important items to pay attention to (aka “Lenox Park Ten Commandments”). See below.
RETENTION AREA DREDGING PROJECT COMPLETED
The retention area located near the front of the neighborhood (next to 5585 Lenox Park Place) has been dredged and cleaned out. That was a much needed project, because storm water drainage had been severely backed up due to an overabundance of downed tree limbs, brush, and dams built by beavers! This is the first time that area has been cleaned out, but we’re good to go now. Also, we’re hoping to provide some additional landscaping in order to beautify that area (what can be seen from the street).
ANNUAL HOA HOMEOWNERS’ MTG. – TUESDAY, FEB. 23 (7PM)
Please mark your calendar and plan to attend (online via Zoom) our 2021 Lenox Park Annual HOA Homeowners’ Meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 23 (7pm). An agenda and additional details will be mailed 1-2 weeks prior to the meeting. We’ll recap the vision and values for our neighborhood, recap 2020 highlights, give a financial update, look ahead to 2021, and vote on the two open HOA Board positions. Feel free to email any questions, or items that you would like to be addressed, to Drue at firstname.lastname@example.org.
HOA BOARD – 2 OPEN POSITIONS
If you are interested in learning more about how you can make a difference here in Lenox Park, you may want to consider volunteering to serve on the HOA Board. The two-year terms will be expiring for Chip Wood and Sandra Scott (and we are immensely grateful for their service), but we will have two openings on the board. Returning HOA Board members include Drue Warner, Jim Gleckler, and Melanie Smith. For questions and/or an overview and description of roles and responsibilities, contact Drue at email@example.com or 404-906-9117 (cell). NOTE: Board members are not elected to specific positions (i.e. President, VP, Treasurer, Secretary, Member-at-Large). In order to insure the best fit for each position, the returning and newly elected board members work together to determine who will serve in each role.
If you’re thinking of making any changes to the exterior appearance of your home (i.e. windows, mailbox, roof, painting, major landscaping updates, garage door replacement, front door replacement, etc.), be sure to submit an ARC Request Form to firstname.lastname@example.org. NOTE: ARC Request Forms are available at www.LenoxPark.org. Go to Documents > Owners – Forms > ARC Form V2020.
LENOX PARK TEN COMMANDMENTS
